Mission Statement

The Southeast Archaeology Foundation is dedicated to supporting research, interpretation, and preservation of archaeological resources related to projects of the Southeast Archeological Center (SEAC) of the National Park Service through volunteer services, grants, gifts, and donations.

About Us

The Southeast Archaeology Foundation is a non-profit corporation providing education through the publication of archaeological reports and monographs, as well as funding research projects.

The Foundation supports artists and creators whose work in various media depicts and interprets archaeological and historical sites, cultures, and artifacts for the benefit of the public. The Foundation also seeks to collaborate with other non-profit organizations which fall under the 501(c) (3) section of the internal revenue code and are operated exclusively for scientific and educational purposes. At the discretion of the board of directors, the Foundation may provide internships or volunteer opportunities which provide opportunities for involvement in said activities and programs in order to have a greater impact for change.
